Our years of internet video expertise allowed us to do something that
we have wanted to do for a long time--make online video a seamless
experience.
What is One-Click™?
For too long, online video was viewable only by a few people with
special browser plug-ins. As the main video players became more available
and were eventually included on all computer systems, it was still
up to the person browsing the website to know what video player they
had installed, what version, what operating system version, and at
what bandwidth speed they were connected.
The most common way to get this information so a website can deliver
video to the end user was, and still is, to ask the visitor a series
of questions or make them choose from several drop down menus.
We didn't like this. And we set out to change it. Several months later,
after a good deal of frustration, a few lucky insights, and two patents,
we had it. We were able to put all our video delivery knowledge into
our Back-End Brain™.
