Adapted Recreation offers recreation programs and services that promote individual choices. Individuals with disabilities can choose to take
part in AdVenture programs which are designed specifically for people with disabilities or utilize inclusion services in which
accommodations may be provided so that an individual with a disability can fully participate in Boise Parks and Recreation
programs that are not specifically designed for someone with a disability.
The Art Center , located adjacent to Fort Boise Community Center, offers quality art classes for youth and adults at an affordable price.
Over 200 different classes are offered each year for youth starting as young as 2 1/2 years of age through adults and Seniors.
Class offerings include a wide variety of art mediums such as: drawing, painting, clay, photography, sculpture, multi-media
and much more. Boise Parks and Recreation offers many visual and performing arts classes and programs for youth.
Fort Boise Community Center is a fully accessible building that offers a weight room with cardiovascular equipment, a full-size gymnasium, locker rooms,
a multi-purpose exercise room, a dance studio, and a teen activity center. We provide aesthetic, functional, properly managed
facilities and qualified instructors for various fitness development classes.

Idaho IceWorld is Idaho's premier indoor family ice skating and entertainment center. We offer adult and youth hockey leagues, figure skating
programs, lessons and public skate sessions. Idaho IceWorld is a great place to have a birthday party or business function.
Amenities include two NHL regulation size ice rinks, a large banquet/event facility, a catering kitchen, an arcade, the Cutting
Edge Sports pro shop, restaurants and much more.
Cool off this summer at one of Boise's six municipal outdoor aquatic facilities . We operate and maintain six outdoor swim facilities to provide affordable youth, adult and family-oriented water recreation
opportunities such as swim lessons, special programming, swim team and open swim in a safe, sanitary and enjoyable environment.
Boise Parks and Recreation Sports and Fitness unit offers softball, volleyball, flag football, basketball and girls fast pitch softball leagues and tournaments. Each
program offers several divisions of play to accommodate all skill levels. We provide aesthetic, functional, properly managed
facilities and qualified instructors for various fitness development classes such as weight training, conditioning and yoga
to meet the needs of our patrons, regardless of age and ability level.
Warm Springs Golf Course continues to add and promote programs to facilitate the needs of the community. A component of the Warm Springs mission statement
is to 'keep golf affordable for the golfing public while providing a quality safe experience for all.' We actively encourage
and promote new golfers, while still providing an avenue for the more established golfers to co-exist within our golfing community.
Youth Services Unit's purpose is to help every young person in our city have a
happy, healthy and successful life through recreational activities, community involvement and leadership opportunities. Youth
can become involved in art, drama, dance, ice skating, golf, leadership and more. We look forward to seeing you!
